Collection 2000 Colour Lash in Clear, Volume Million Lashes for Hazel Eyes Mascara.
You know when you gotta be quick? Or, you those days in the mornings/afternoons and you need to go out for whatever reason even though you reaallyyyy do not want to and then...
You look at your face and think 'holy fuck, I must cover this up,' - for whatever reason, we've all been there, right? A spot, blemish, something that makes our morning routine a little bit more hassle, and let's face it, could potentially put us in a bad mood for the rest of the day...
My answer, for myself, of course, is...
Primer. Tighten my pores, even my skin tone please!
Concealer. Blemish? Gone. Spots? Nearly gone, but it will do. Dark circles? Gone.
Just a quick photo to show a sneak peak at my 'make up station' - I bought a pack of four self adhesive hooks from Morrisons (only 99p!) and stuck them in a reasonably neat row...
And voila, necklace storage!
I don't like shoving my necklaces in a box, because they always get tangled and I hate tangles so much - with ear phone/head phone wires but especially metal jewelry which never wants to get untangled - it just never seems to end!
These hooks come in a pack of four, in a chrome effect or white, obviously they are only plastic and self adhesive - so they aren't meant to carry heavy items - but a necklace or two won't hurt.
Any storage ideas that have organised your 'special' area?
Left to right; 17 Lasting Fix 'Glisten', No7 Stay Perfect 'Tangy', All About Nails 'Caribbean Coconut', Barry M 'Blueberry', MUA 'Shade 5'.
When it comes spring colours, I'm all for the pretty pastels and such like - but I usually like to go for a punch more colour like No7's 'Tangy' or Barry M's 'Blueberry,' so that when spring leads into summer - I am all set with my colours.
That being said, I like to keep the brighter colours on my toes - while the milder colours like MUA 'shade 5' and All About Nails 'Caribbean Coconut,' are usually on my nails - I find them more adaptable for what I'm wearing, and usually I can layer some glitter polish on top of the peachy colour when I want to add a bit of sparkle.
And for special occasions I bring out the 17 Lasting Fix in 'Glisten,' - It has two tones, pink and coral with a gold shimmer. Perfect for a night out. Subtle and pretty, with glitter.
Well I was going to do a vlog for these products, and I filmed about three... Then everything went wrong in terms that my netbook hates my boyfriends camera, then I used my dads camera and it had no memory...
I have no video camera of my own. Gasp!
So in the end I raged about technology and thought I'd just do an old fashioned blog post for now. ;)
This month is pretty No7 heavy, but they had a 3 for 2 offer on that I took advantage of and I had a £5 gift voucher for No7... so for the hot cloth cleanser, nail polish and highlighter, it only came to about £18 -- for great high quality products.
I really can't say enough about No7, they are my favourite drug store/middle ranged products.
As for the stippling brush by Samantha Chapman, I tried it for liquid foundation and it went on cakey, so no luck there... but I use it for my highlighters like high beam and the No7 highlighter above, and it works a treat! I imagine it would be the same for cream blush, but I have not tried it yet.
I've also been using this mascara for around three months and I can't get enough - I don't know if it makes my eyes look 'hazel-y-er' but it certainly lengthens and separates and thickens! Glorious!
